NONI FRUIT JUICE
Noni fruit , whether it is in plant form or juice form, has been prescribed to provide healing and nutrition for the Pacific Islanders for more than 2,000 years.
Known throughout the South Pacific as the ‘mother of all healing plants,' noni is the common name for Morinda citrifolia, a plant that the Pacific Islanders have used for centuries almost as a panacea (a supposed cure for all diseases). Modern science has confirmed noni's medical usefulness, particularly for supporting the immune system (fruit) and the digestive system (leaves). It has been called the ‘Painkiller Tree' in the Caribbean Islands.
There are many benefits to drinking noni juice -- noni juice supports the immune system, which strengthens the body's ability to fight disease and infection. It is an antioxidant that helps the body rid itself of harmful free radicals and may increase a user's energy levels, and it supports the digestive system, among other things.
Some of the other widely agreed-upon characteristics of noni fruit include anecdotal accounts of the anti-swelling effects of noni fruit consumption. Scientific studies have shown that a polysaccharide-rich substance called “noni-ppt” helps correct the immune system and fight tumors.
Furthermore, noni fruit benefits health and well being in a general way, containing such disease-fighting effects as: antiseptics, bactericides, fungicides, laxatives, antioxidants, anesthetics, candidacide, cathartics, analgesics, cancer-preventatives, detoxicants, and so on. In other words, noni fruit is widely reported as a possible supplement for treating infections, pain, diabetes and – perhaps – some forms of cancer.
Finally, noni fruit may contain a molecule called proxeronine, which transforms into xeronine in the body, and is said to account for many of noni's health benefits. Noni fruit appears to benefit the health of hundreds of thousands of people who consume it every day
Noni Fruit Capsules
One noni fruit capsule usually contains 500 to 1,000 milligrams of noni. Some capsules contain pure noni fruit, while others might also include the seeds, bark, or leaves. Pure fruit capsules contain a higher concentration of nutrients, while capsules containing other parts of the tree provide a wider array of nutrients.
To make noni fruit available in capsule form, the fruit is dehydrated, irradiated and ground up to be packed into capsules, usually made of plant-derived cellulose. These processes serve to condense and sanitize the fruit for safe consumption and a long shelf life (usually up to two years.) However, the processes remove most of the moisture, which contains a large amount of the more volatile nutrients. Still, many of noni's benefits remain. Try Noni products for yourself and see what positive changes you feel in your health and well being.
